F.A.Q

Frequently asked questions

For graphics commissions:

Q. I'm not good at design termanology, will it affect communication?

In short, it won't, and shouldn't! I do not expect my clients to know everything about design in general, and it is also my job to make it easy and clear for you. All clients are happy to ask as much questions as they wish.

Q. I don't have a good idea on concept, will it be a problem?

In all honesty, it is highly recommended because it may be confusing for me as a designer to create something you will enjoy if I do not know what you would want. When I ask clients to make a moodboard for me, I also do some my own independent research on similar designs so I can expand the horizon. I will also ask if there's no clear vision.

Q. What are the commerical use terms for graphics?

Anything that the client can and will profit from. In short, logo designs for careers is considered commercial use, because my design will be the face of your 'brand'. If you make money from work that features my design, it will be under 'commercial use' terms. Watermarking personal artworks will not fall under this however.

Q. May I purchase commercial use rights later on?

I let clients decide what is best for them. I know it takes time to make desicisions such as this, so I have no time constraint regarding the purchase of commercial use. You can always nudge in my DMs at any time to buy rights even after the order has been done.

Q. What may the additional detail fees be for?

In general, the base price should cover a logomark price. Some clients may request for tile based watermark, or much more complicated design that is more than just a logomark. That's about it. Colours and effects of type will not affect the pricing. Those can be requested by the client. ( such as: stroke, drop shadow, outer light etc. ! )

As always, questions are welcomed! They make my work more thorough.
